Roles of Husbands and Wives
I was listening to a sermon by John Piper and he gave these definitions of headship and submission and how they tie into the role of husbands and wives. What are your ideas or opinions?

I really think Piper's got it down. The husband is called to love his wife as Christ loved the church (Eph. 5:24) and the wife has been called to submit to her husband as to the Lord (Eph. 5:22). These verses are (in my guess) the base of Piper's definitions. Christ is a servant leader of the church and the church is supposed to submit to Him. Piper's right on (but then again, why should that surprise us?)
